To Whom It May Concern:

Concerning my great friend, Robert Farrell, whom with his wife Bridget, I have known for some 10 years.

Just to give you an idea of who I am: I have been an itinerant missionary for the past 19 years, working in many countries, and I have been in full time Christian ministry for the past 28 years. Prior to being a missionary, I was an Elder in a thriving south-coast church in England, one of a leadership team of 7, and I was more specifically the Youth Pastor of that church. It is a great pleasure and privilege to have had in my youth group some of the young men who went on to become the worship band, Delirious. In my capacity in mission, I work with churches on a global scale, with a real burden for, and focus on, Cali, Colombia (featured in a video, ‘Transformations’, some years ago). I am 54 years old, and, though English, I am currently based in Hampton, Virginia.

Robert Farrell is a man of immense gifting, vision, talent, and calling. He is a gifted teacher, preacher, motivator, and evangelist. Robert is a man of great anointing and determination, with a passion to reach the lost, teach the believers, and establish the Kingdom of God in the lives of people. He is a man who knows not only how to ‘cut to the chase’ but also carries the wisdom and sensitivity to know when to challenge people, at just the right moment. Through gifting and skill, Robert has the ability to cause people to recognize issues in their own lives that God wants to change, refine, or deal with. Very much a ‘craftsman’ with words, Robert is also very skilled at ‘confronting’ people. He is a man with great compassion, and depth, a man with a huge heart for God and people: he is also a man of great humor, which endears him to many. In my experience of him, he is most certainly a man ‘after God’s own heart’.

I would most certainly commend him to you as a man who would add substance, quality, and gifting to your team. Bridget is a highly skilled and gifted partner, with a passion for the damaged and hurting people of the world, a wonderful wife, and a great ‘foil’ for Robert. Together they are a God-anointed team, multi-gifted, and worthy of God’s call on their lives. They are ‘two who will slay 10,000′ – and will be a great acquisition for your church.

I would most certainly and warmly recommend Robert and Bridget to you.
