I have known Robert for approximately two years both as pastor of our last church and as a very dear friend.
Robert is a man of tremendous passion who loves the Bible and as a pastor was someone who cared very much for those people for whom he was responsible. Maybe Robert’s passion gets him into trouble sometimes but I respect him for that and would not wish him to be any other way. He is a man who works incredibly hard on anything that he undertakes and yet always has time to lend an ear to anyone who comes to him for support and prayer.
He is also an outstanding preacher and will always challenge when speaking from the Word – that is not something that you can say of many preachers these days ! I have learned a great deal about scripture since I met Robert and this has been a tremendous blessing.
Overall, Robert, and of course his wife, Bridget, are totally unique and my wife and I have been utterly blessed by getting to know them as dear, and I’m sure lifelong friends.
