Pastor
Definition :- Someone who takes care of sheep. Stinky, smelly or stupid it makes no difference, a Pastor takes care of them, bringing them into wholeness, health and safety.
If you can do anything else other than be a Pastor. DO IT! On the whole (with exceptions) the hours are long, the people are a problem (indeed without the interaction with people the Pastorate world be great!) and the pay is poor. I am not even sure about the retirement benefits. I remember reading somewhere about the dangers of having your reward and not to e many teachers etc…So if you can do something else..DO IT
I find myself I can’t though. I love people and love helping them become all they can be.
